Get Ready for a PMP Certification Training Syllabus Change in 2021

As projects we perform today change with time, PMI has announced about the change in the syllabus of the PMP certification Training Course. PMI change syllabus after conducting a survey once in every 3-5 year. With the result, they analyze how the trends has been changed, how much has the profession progressed and how widely responsibilities of project managers have outlined. What we have now is the result of research conducted in 2015. Therefore we are expecting a syllabus change in the coming year. PMI has announced 31 December 2020 as the last day to take the current version of the PMP examination. 2 January 2021 onwards we will be taking the new version of PMP exam. As per new syllabus there are three domains, where questions will be taken from. There will be 50 % of questions from ‘process’, which accounts for half score. The remaining will be taken from ‘people’ (42% of questions) and ‘business environment’ (8% of questions).

  • The PMP® examination is comprised of 200 multiple-choice questions and has to be completed in 4 hours. The PMP examination comprises of 200 questions, of which 25 are considered pre-test and are not scored. The questions have to be answered within 4 hours. Person before taking up the PMP exam must ensure that they meet some initial requirements outlined by PMI. Upon completion of PMP certification training course, you will need to earn 60 professional development units. PMI directs two ways to earn PDUs. First, education PDUs in which you will get 1PDU per hour.
